The Carpenters

   The bells in the tower outside my office window chime on the hour

and sometimes play tunes. At 5 p.m., the bells just played

"Close To You" by the Carpenters.

    Doesn't that seem a bit odd to you for a musical selection from a bell tower?

Shouldn't it be playing Gregorian chants or something?

And who arranges Carpenters songs specifically for bell towers?

  I wonder.
